Ride on for Team Renaissance!

It’s time to sign up for the coolest gig in town.  That’s right…I’m talking about the The Renaissance Team for the UPAF Ride for the Arts.  On Sunday, June 7, thousands of bike riders are getting together for a fun ride while raising money for the UPAF.  And UPAF is a big sponsor of the performing arts in Milwaukee.  So raising money for them is actually raising money for Renaissance.  

 

To sign up for the Renaissance Team, go to www.millerliteride.com and click on register on a team.  Find Renaissance Theaterworks and our secret password is thedig, but ssshhhhh, don’t tell anyone, unless they are going to sign up for the ride.  Everyone who joins the RTW team will get a goodie bag filled with cool stuff including a team shirt with the Renaissance logo on it – YEA!!  Deadline for a team shirt is May 6.

UPAF Miller Lite Ride for the Arts – June 1st

Have you signed up to be a part of the Renaissance Theaterworks Team?  As a member of the team, you will be helping raise money for United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), which helps to fund the performing arts community in Milwaukee.  50% of all donations and ride registrations will come back to Renaissance.

Who’s Ready for a Bike Ride?

I know that you are thinking about how much fun it will be to be on the Renaissance Theaterworks Team for the Ride for the Arts bike ride on June 2.  But you are probably thinking aboutNew Bike for the Ride for the Arts what kind of equipment do you need…I know the place for you.  Wheel and Sprocket is having their 24th Annual Bike Expo at State Fair Park, Wednesday, March 19 – Saturday, March 22. 

It’s a great time to get a new bike.  Then, remember to sign up for the Ride for the Arts as a Renaissance Theaterworks team member.  Ride with us on June 2 while raising money for the performing arts in Milwaukee.  50% of the money that is raised by our team members will come directly back to Renaissance.  That’s a really great thing!

So, let’s see…you get a new, shiny bike (the bell is optional), join the Renaissance Team, get in shape, raise money for Renaissance (as well as other theater companies in Milwaukee) and it’s FUN!!

Ride for the Arts

I’ve had enough of Old Man Winter – how about you?!  It’s time to “switch gears” and think about the warm summer wind, blowing gently across your face as you catch glimps of the lake, the Calatrava and Bayside neighborhoods.  I could only be talking about one thing…that’s right…it’s time for the Ride for the Arts.  We are inviting you to join the Renaissance Theaterworks Team. 

Sign on at www.millerliteride.com and register online.  Scroll down until you find the Renaissance Theaterworks team.  When prompted, our team password is fatpig (note the coincidence that this is also the name of our next full production. hee hee)

We would love to have you join us on our team.  We had 31 team members last year and are striving for 40 this year.  All the team fees and money raised goes to United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), who supports the arts in Milwaukee.  50% of the money our team generates will go directly back to us.  So, sign up early and often.
