When you’ve loved someone for a long time, you can predict their every move and finish their every sentence. Which is exactly why Honor is now left flabbergasted. After 32 years of marriage, she did not predict that Gus would leave her for a beautiful, much younger woman. And while Honor can still finish Gus’ sentences, she’d rather he just stop talking. Honour is an all-too-familiar story told in a refreshingly unfamiliar way. A nuanced depiction of a loving mother and talented poet who makes significant sacrifices and ends up examining her own marriage as though she, too, is sitting in the theater.
