 Welcome
to Renaissance Theaterworks (RTW),
Milwaukee's only women-founded, women-run theatre company. The mission
of Renaissance Theaterworks is to create compelling theater focusing
on the exploration of the feminine voice and to offer professional
opportunities to emerging local theater artists.
Located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward,
RTW produces intimate and moving theatre at The Studio Theatre at
the Broadway Theatre Center.

 Renaissance
Theaterworks was founded in 1993 by Susan Fete,
Marie Kohler, Raeleen McMillion, Jennifer Rupp and Michelle Traband.
Their expertise in theatre included acting, directing, writing,
administration and business management. The formation of RTW was
meant to address the lack of professional opportunities available
to women in theatre. RTW is inclusive in its hiring practices and
uses the talents of both men and women in their productions, administration
and board of directors.
