Mattie adored her older brother Jamie, a gifted young archaeologist. But their relationship changed forever when Jamie had a break with reality on an archaeological dig in 1967. Years later, Mattie must explore the history of that fated dig, peeling away layers of mystery. Her search illuminates her own past, present, and future and the lasting power of a loving sibling relationship.
