About the Play
A contemporary murder mystery set within the confines of a secluded convent. Agnes, a devout and innocent young nun, is found alone in her room with her dead newborn. Accused of murder, Agnes insists she has no memory of the conception or birth. A psychiatrist is appointed to determine whether Agnes is fit to stand trial, while the convent’s Mother Superior is resolved to protect Agnes’ fragility. As the psychiatrist and the Mother Superior struggle over Agnes’ fate, the play plunges into the mystery of faith and the consequence of truth.
