About BELONGING
In response to the nationwide call for social justice, we present BELONGING, a collection of three theatrical gems exploring the complex question, “Who Belongs?”
Renaissance Theaterworks is excited to collaborate with The Outer Loop Theater Experience to create state-of-the-art virtual/mixed reality effects for BELONGING.
BELONGING virtual performances: December 4-20, 2020.
All three short plays are presented as a collection – with your ticket you will be able to watch all three plays. Run time: 60 minutes.
WARNING: Adult language and subject matter, and depictions of violence.
TICKETS: Free to subscribers. Standard: $40.00. Under age 40: $20.00. Artists/Students/Educators: $10.00. A portion of proceeds will benefit YWCA Southeast Wisconsin’s efforts to end racism.

A young Latina bears the child of a mystical winged man. A lyrical play about home, hope and identity. Featuring Leslye Martinez, Ashley Rodriguez, Isabel Quintero and Alexandro Zatarain.
José Rivera studied with Colombian Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez at the Sundance Institute, and the influence of the magical realist style can often be found in his plays. Read more about José Rivera.

Haunting and heartbreaking, this short play contains an entire lifetime as it explores the devastation brought by police violence against Black people. After premiering at our Br!NK 2018 New Play Development Festival, our production of ALL OF THE EVERYTHING was a finalist at the 2019 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival in NYC. Featuring Malkia Stampley and Chiké Johnson.
