About the Play
During World War II, an elite group of female pilots became pioneers, heroes, and role models. They were the Women Air Force Service Pilots; the first American women to fly military aircraft.
Their biggest battles were fought on the ground; the women struggled daily with sexual harassment, discrimination, and sabotage. Based on real incidents, the play tells the story of four of these young women, and the cost of their commitment and patriotism.
